How to save web pages and documents on a hard disk - On file server

As you saw in the first exercise, the mouse has two buttons. Up to now you have always clicked on the left button in order to launch links and click on different buttons.

If you want to save an "object" from the web page (an image or picture, a film, etc...) you can register it using the mouse’s right button.

Lets see how to do it!

If you click on a picture (or on something else) using the mouse’s right button, a new window pops up and shows some options.

In the list, you can find the command "save picture as" to save only the picture and not the whole webpage.

It is possible to save documents connected to links suggested in menus in the same way. You click on your mouse’s right button and the group of objects of that link have been saved on your computer’s hard drive/disk.

Try to click your mouse’s right button over the picture and save it on your computer.

Now try to save the document connected with this link

In this way you can save documents in different formats, such as word, pdf and many more.
