An online newspaper is a newspaper which is only available in the web. There are different types: they can provide information on a particular subject (poetry, novels, photos) or be part of open source journalism or citizen journalism pilot projects.
The most important newspapers often have an electronic version of the printed one. The editorial boards update them with in depth studies taken from the printed version, using all the media tools that are available (videos, audio, photos, ect).
The main national newspapers are:

You will see the Home Page of the online newspaper "Times on line" .
In the horizontal toolbar you will find links to news you are interested in.
We suggest you to click on "Weather".
A new window will open:
News about weather forecasts all over the world
Daily weather forecast for the national countries
Search for weather forecast all over the world
Weather map
Choose a region and click the left button of the mouse.
We selected "Wales" for Wales Forecast.
If you would select a different region you could click on "UK Weather" menu and choose the new country.
If you are a football fan click on "sport" to read the latest news on your favourit team!
The sport page is like the other news. For exemple:
in the right box you could find the latest sport news
a coloured box introduce wacthing highlights on video
scrolling the page you could read more about every sport (f.e. football)
Now you could read more about sports searching news in this page and in the links. Move the scroll bar using your mouse. If you would go back to the home page click on "Times OnLine".
Being in the web has become essential: how can we stand out?
Some newspapers have decided to use the broadcasting online service, which broadcasts audio/video contents on the net, either live or a fe days later.
They tape the event and broadcast it on the net. To listen to the online broadcast, your computer must have speakers.
Some newspapers offer this option.
