Buje - The first G&G course

10 “grandparents” and 10 “grandchildren” were the protagonists of the first free Internet course held at the Open University of Buje within the project “G&G Enhancement”. The course had been divided in four intensive days of study, during which each “grandchildren” taught his “grandparent” how to use the computer, write a document, surf the internet and send an e-mail.

The attendees had been divided into two smaller groups: the first group, with four pairs of grandparents and grandchildren, discovered the world of internet on 11th, 13th, 18th and 20th June; while the second group, with six pairs of grandparents and grandchildren, learned how to use the computer and surf the internet on 14th, 19th, 21st and 26th June. The course had been organized by the City of Buje, in collaboration with the Open University of Buje and the youth association “ZiiD” from Buje.

The courses will start again in September 2012. Registrations are now open.
